This study is grounded in the declining quality of adab (Islamic etiquette) and civic culture awareness among Indonesia's younger generation amid globalization, despite Islamic civilization historically serving as a substantial source of national character formation. This research aims to describe and analyze the contribution of adab values within Islamic civilization to strengthening civic culture as a foundation for building Indonesia's national character. A descriptive qualitative approach combining literature review and case study was employed, with data gathered through observation, interviews, and documentation of adab education practices in Islamic educational institutions. The findings show that adab values such as honesty, respect, responsibility, and social concern play a vital role in cultivating an egalitarian and collaborative civic awareness. Integrating adab with civic culture proved to strengthen national identity without losing Islamic spiritual roots. It is concluded that adab-based Islamic civilization serves as a strategic foundation for building a globally competitive nation with noble character.
