This study was motivated by the low learning outcomes of Islamic Religious Education among fifth-grade students at SDN Atar Kuwau. The learning process was still dominated by lecture methods, causing students to be passive, easily bored, less confident, and unable to understand the material evenly. This study aimed to describe the implementation of the Think Pair Share (TPS) method and the improvement of students’ learning outcomes in Islamic Religious Education during the 2025/2026 academic year. This study employed a qualitative approach with a field research design. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, and analyzed using the Miles, Huberman, and Saldaña model through data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing and verification. Data validity was established through triangulation and member checking. The results showed that the implementation of TPS through the Think, Pair, and Share stages was systematic and improved students’ participation, independence, cooperation, courage, confidence, concentration, and learning motivation. Students’ learning outcomes also improved, with the average score increasing from 65 to the minimum mastery criterion of 70. Thus, TPS can serve as an active and collaborative learning alternative for improving Islamic Religious Education learning outcomes.
