Character education is a fundamental pillar in shaping a young generation with strong moral values amid rising moral degradation, including juvenile delinquency, violence, and misuse of digital technology among students. This phenomenon demands systematic strengthening of character education to build learners whose personalities reflect integrity, responsibility, religiosity, and empathy. This study aims to examine the urgency, strategies, and challenges of strengthening character education in shaping the morality of Indonesia's young generation. The method used is a library research approach with a descriptive qualitative design, systematically reviewing accredited national journal articles published within the last five years. The findings indicate that integrating character values into the curriculum, teacher role modeling, family involvement, and consistent positive habituation significantly foster discipline, religiosity, and social awareness among learners. It is concluded that strengthening character education must be carried out collaboratively and sustainably among schools, families, and communities so the young generation possesses a solid moral foundation to face the challenges of the times.
