Nutritional fulfillment is one of the important factors in supporting the success of the educational process. This article aims to examine the role of nutritional fulfillment in education through a philosophical perspective, particularly within the context of the Free Nutritious Meal Program (MBG). In the philosophy of education, education is not only understood as an effort to develop intellectual abilities, but also as a process of shaping human beings as a whole, encompassing physical, mental, and well-being aspects. Therefore, the fulfillment of basic needs, including nutritional needs, becomes an inseparable part of the educational process. The concept of basic human needs shows that a healthy physical condition greatly influences students’ learning abilities. A learning environment that supports health can help improve concentration, comprehension, and student participation in learning activities. The Free Nutritious Meal Program (MBG) is present as a government effort to meet the nutritional needs of students, with the aim of improving health quality and supporting an optimal learning process. This program targets students as the primary group requiring attention in nutritional fulfillment. Thus, from the perspective of the philosophy of education, nutritional fulfillment is not merely technical in nature, but also part of an effort to realize a humanistic education oriented toward overall human well-being.
